ICE DRIFT

When all the snow has melted in Tallinn, Tartu, or Pärnu, it’s raining and flooding, we usually still have good riding weather in Otepää.

NEVER JUDGE OTEPÄÄ’S SNOW CONDITIONS BY TALLINN’S MUD !!!

Why?
Because we have consciously chosen the snowiest location next to Otepää.

Since we are located significantly higher, precipitation here mostly falls as snow, not rain, as the weather forecast often claims.

We ride day and night, because our tracks are too exciting not to ride.
Of course, we also ride in deep snow when all cars and people are snowbound. But rarely, we also ride on ice and water.

Occasionally, a thaw reaches us, and then completely unique riding conditions emerge in places. For example, smooth ice.

Sledding on ice is an experience in itself – an oversteer experience that requires special control. Appropriate throttle, suitable steering, correct lean. Even dangerous at high speeds.
Pirouettes come easily, and whoever stops might not be able to get going again on the slippery surface.
Some call it ice drifting. Come try it and decide for yourself.

Fortunately, the snow hasn’t disappeared here yet, as it usually only melts from our maintained tracks by the end of April.
More snow is coming, and riding conditions improve every day.

Winter continues.
